FREE Glitch Textures
Glitch Texture contains various electricity sounds, including humming, buzzing, and various computing noises and glitches.
The collection is similar to our Electricity Sound Effects release but contains longer recordings that are perfect for layering and sound design.
The glitch sounds are provided in 24-bit 96 kHz stereo WAV format.
How to use these glitch sounds in your projects
The most obvious way to use Glitch Textures is as a source of electronic interference and electromagnetic noise sounds for use in video projects and video games.
You know those classic electricity sound effects that you hear in every movie when a camera passes by an old neon sign or when a communication device malfunctions? Glitch Textures is full of such electronic sounds!
However, there are many other creative ways to incorporate these sounds into your projects.
One thing I like to do is layering various noise recordings such as these on top of synth pads and other synth sounds. This gives the original sound some edge and randomness, making it more interesting to listen to.
Another option is using these electronic sounds as the starting point for creating more complex sound effects. You can layer these electronic glitches with other recordings to create complex effects like laser sounds, explosions, electronic blasts, and more.
To load the provided samples in your audio or video software, download the free Glitch Textures library, extract the downloaded ZIP archive, and import the WAV files into your project.
About the artist – Free To Use Sounds
Glitch Textures is the latest Free To Use Sounds for the 99Sounds audience, following the previous (and highly popular) Nature Sounds and World Sounds releases.
Free to Use Sounds offers affordable field recordings and sound effects through their All in One Bundle (with 2 TB of sounds!). Priced at only $20, it’s an incredible value for music producers, sound designers, and creators.
I purchased the All in One Bundle several years ago, and it remains one of the best sound design purchases I have ever made. It’s an endless source of sounds, textures, and sound effects that I use in my music production and sound design work.
