Antigen Is An Audio Journey To The Edge Of Space
Every sound library on 99Sounds has a story behind it, and the story behind Antigen is one of exploration, solitude, and distant travel.
Antigen takes us on a journey well beyond humanity’s habitable zone. The sound palette is entirely foreign and invites your imagination to render its patterns of situations that may be happening in these outlandish-sounding audio clips.
The author gives us only a few hints in the titles. The rest is given to us to explore as we dive deep into the unknown and unsettling sound design territories.
When we asked Dronny about the sound design techniques he used while working on Antigen, he told us that the library was created mostly using granular and spectral synthesis.
Simple effects such as resonators, reverb, EQ, and delay were also essential to the creative process. The author describes himself as a “heavy minimalism lover” who is “heavily influenced by music, photography, architecture, and everything that has proper taste and quality.”
The Artist
You may know Dronny Darko as the author of the excellent audio demo for the recently released Drones sound library by Red Fog.
These two releases share a lot in common, so the chances are that you’ll enjoy exploring Antigen if you happen to like Red Fog’s excellent Drones.

Technical Details
Antigen contains 50 soundscapes in total, sorted into three folders: Aerial, Capsules, and Fragment. All audio content is provided in 24-bit WAV format.
You can use the material provided in this sound pack for music production, game development, and other audio/video projects of a commercial or non-commercial nature.
