Radiophonic Atmospheres by Red Sky Lullaby

Radiophonic Atmospheres is a royalty free sound collection crafted by Red Sky Lullaby. By blending mystical analog atmospheres, eerie granular textures and mind bending rhythmic loops into a perfect sonic mixture, the author has created an exciting sound library that is sure to inspire and get your creative juices flowing.

The library contains 99 audio samples and loops in total, sorted into three categories (Ambient Atmospheres, Outer Atmospheres and Rhythmic Atmospheres). The first two folders feature a collection of drones, background textures and atmospheres with a strong experimental vibe, whereas the third folder packs an amazing set of electrifying riffs and frantic analog sequences. All sounds are provided in 24-bit WAV format and are ready for use in your sampler of choice. All included loops are BPM labeled. No additional patches are provided.

If you download and enjoy Radiophonic Atmospheres, make sure to check out Red Sky Lullaby’s official website as well. You can also follow the artist’s YouTube and Facebook pages. His latest album titled Very Own Special Day was released a couple of weeks ago on Bandcamp.

Red Sky Lullaby describes Radiophonic Atmospheres as “a sound collection that is inspired by the experimental spirit and techniques of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop”. The sounds were designed with a strong focus on unique and ethereal textures and rhythms. Acoustic sources and analog emulations were the basis for many of the sounds which were warped with the help of various spectral tools, granular synthesis and other effects to make sounds that sound contemporary, but with an intentional retro vibe.

When I click the “Download” button, it takes me to a page with the following error message: “An unhandled lowlevel error occurred. The application logs may have details.”

I tried from a different browser and got the same result. Is anyone else having this issue?

It’s a RAR archive. Please try adding the RAR extension manually by renaming the file.

Some great sounds! Thanks for making this available for free!

But please fix the download. Renaming it works, but shouldn’t be necessary. It looks like an amateur mistake. This release deserves better!

Hi Ben, sorry for the filename issues. Our file hosting service is causing this. We’re in the process of transferring all of our files to a new service.
